Transportation Safety Consultants can help you handle your random drug and alcohol testing for your CDL drivers as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

The Federal Motor Carrier Regulations requires your company to randomly test 50% of your CDL drivers for drugs and randomly test 10% of your CDL drivers for alcohol. These random draws must be done with a scientific method.

When you join our consortium we provide an approved scientific method for random draws. Also the consortium is required to meet the above-mentioned percentages and not each individual member company. At the end of each calendar year our consortium will provide you with number of drivers tested for both drug and alcohol, this is information your company would need if audited by US DOT or Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The fee for joining the consortium is $110.00 for up to 5 CDL drivers and 125.00 for 6 or more CDL drivers.

The one-time joining fee you pay gives you lifetime membership into the consortium as long as your company remains in good standing.

Besides the initial joining fee the only other fee is $15.00 per driver when a driver is selected for a test (you pay for the test at any testing lab of your choice) from your company. There is no fee for adding or deleting drivers to your company list.
